No, not at all. Contacting us or submitting an enquiry is completely risk-free for your credit score. We only carry out a soft credit search (invisible to other lenders) once we’ve had an initial conversation, and a full credit search only happens when you’ve chosen a lender and decided to proceed. You can explore your options with us with zero impact on your credit file.
Please don’t be. We hear every kind of situation every day, and we genuinely don’t judge. Previous declines, CCJs, a rough trading period. These don’t rule you out, and telling us honestly about your circumstances helps us match you to lenders who are actually open to your situation. The worst thing you can do is not tell us, we’d rather know everything upfront so we can give you a realistic picture.
None whatsoever. Contacting us, having a conversation, and exploring your options is completely free and carries no obligation. We only earn a commission from the lender if and when a deal completes, so we have no incentive to pressure you into anything. If the options we find don’t work for you, you simply say no. That happens too, and that’s fine.
